It has been an eventful summer at Beck/Allen with the completion of our new showroom followed by a grand opening celebration to remember. Friends old and new from the St. Louis design, building and architecture communities joined us for the official opening of our new 9,000-square-foot kitchen and bath showroom.
After more than 20 years serving homeowners and members of the design and building trades in St Louis, owners Mike Beck and Lee Allen (see above) proudly unveiled the new space.
As a result of an intensive two-year renovation, our new showroom offers an experience unlike anything in the St. Louis market. Upon entering, visitors are met with bright, natural light and soaring 24-foot ceilings. Cabinet displays surround a wide-open space at the heart of the showroom. The space was designed with workshops, CEUs, cooking demonstrations and entertaining in mind—a concept put to the test at our inaugural celebration.
We couldn’t have completed the new showroom without a little help from A LOT of our friends. This night was as much for them as it was for us. Many thanks to all involved in the design and construction of the new space!

Cabinet lines displayed in the new showroom include Crystal Cabinet Works, Poggenpohl, Shiloh Cabinetry, Decor, Koch & Co. and Mid Continent. Also on display are products by Grothouse, Kohler, Watermark, Sub-Zero and Wolf, Lacanche, Franke, Julien, Topex, Neolith, Caesarstone, Cambria, Top Knobs and Richelieu, to name but a few.
A closer look at our 30+ kitchen and bath displays reveals a diverse mix of materials sourced from around the world: cabinets made as close to home as Dudley, Missouri and as far away as Herford, Germany; tile hand-crafted in California; a bespoke range made in France; natural stone from Brazil and an exclusive line of vanities from Italy to name a few. Even ancillary design elements were thoughtfully sourced—wallcoverings from the UK and lighting crafted in Portland, OR.
“The diversity of product displayed is wide-ranging. We’ve incorporated some of the oldest, most iconic luxury interior brands alongside a locally sourced live-edge countertop and selected hand-forged table bases made by craftsmen found on Etsy.”
We currently represent seven cabinet lines and our manner of presentation was driven by the customer experience.
“Every decision we made was based on simplifying the selection process while showing homeowners all that is possible within each line. We grouped manufacturers together intentionally putting door samples, finishes and accessories within reach.”
The size of the showroom allowed for the creation of full-size displays, letting homeowners experience a realistic scale while providing semi-private spaces for designers to meet with clients. Displays include kitchens, bathrooms, custom bars, a luxury closet, walk-in hidden pantry and what can be described as a home’s command center complete with storage lockers and an island conducive to homework, crafting and household organization.
We invite you to stop by Monday through Friday to see, and be inspired by our new showroom. Should you wish to speak with a member of our design team, call (314) 677.6713 to request an appointment.
In the meantime, we invite you to view our Portfolio of new construction and renovation projects.
