A Mixture of Modern and Mid-Century in Sophisticated Living

With their children grown and moved out, two empty nesters relocated to Town & Country for a fresh start. The couple found a home to purchase near Queeny Park, tore it down, and utilized Kim Taylor West of K. Taylor Design Group LLC to design the home of their dreams.
While design decisions (and staggering elevation challenges) abounded, the entire team, including Kim Taylor West of K. Taylor Design Group, Susan Bower of Bower Leet Design, Serena Williams of Beck/Allen Cabinetry, and Huffton Construction fulfilled their roles perfectly to envision and execute the homeowners’ ideal space that can best be described as “a mixture of modern and mid-century.”
The end result was so stunning, in fact, that Beck/Allen Cabinetry’s Serena Williams won a national award for the office cabinetry.
