A distinctive color palette dictated the design decisions made throughout this Wildwood renovation. As seen in the latest issue of St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles, the experts at Liston Design Build have redefined “home” for this St. Louis family.

According to the homeowner, more than a renovation, this was an opportunity to pursue a style “somewhat out of his comfort zone.” He considered his vision for the home warm contemporary and set out to achieve a look unlike anything they had lived with in their former home.

A STUDY IN CONTRASTS

Guiding principles of the renovation led by Keith and Jeanne Liston included the homeowners’ chosen high-contrast palette consisting of black, white and gray. The project was a next step for this St. Louis couple looking to downsize and took the opportunity to bring their personal list of long-awaited design concepts to fruition.

Beck/Allen cabinets were used to construct the new kitchen island and nearby dry bar as well as bathroom vanities. In keeping with the interior palette, their choices of painted cabinet finishes included Iron Ore, Agreeable Gray and Dovetail Gray. Read the entire feature on page 20 of the March issue.
