Beyond its austere beauty, this modern floating vanity design offers lessons in both design and construction.
The homeowners preferred a solid walnut slab drawer front, favoring the slab’s more dramatic variation in grain over that of the more commonly used walnut veneer.
Designer Louis Rybacki looked to Crystal Cabinetry for a solid walnut option within their frameless Encore line to create the custom vanity.
Vanity drawers beneath the sinks feature U-shaped cut-outs to accommodate plumbing. The center drawer pulls out to reveal a tiered drawer system within.
We achieved a wall-to-wall look, coming within 1/8″ of the wall on either side. The result was a testament to the skill of the custom home builder. Most importantly, careful planning and precision were required to ensure the success of this design.
