Last week we were lucky to welcome renowned St. Louis chef, Marc Del Pietro for an evening of practical instruction, amazing food and lots of laughs at our cooking school presented in partnership with Sauce Magazine. The evening’s menu included a braised pork belly, homemade gnocchi and yellowtail snapper.
Marc instantly put our guests at ease with is laid back personality and stories of his family and experience as a chef that has taken him from Manhattan to Monaco. And in addition to simply teaching the recipes on the menu, he gave helpful instruction for the home cook—from timing (which can be tricky), to techniques for making picture-perfect homemade gnocchi. We even received a mini-lesson on knife skills.
Witness Marc’s culinary expertise at his popular Clayton hot spot, Luciano’s Trattoria and his newest restaurant, The Block located in Webster Groves. To make sure you don’t miss the next Beck/Allen cooking class sign up here to be notified via e-mail of upcoming events.
